Weather Towards Tomorrow,http://towardstomorrow.wikispaces.com/is a wiki which supports the learning of Stage 3 students (ages 9-11) in the Connected Outcomes Groups unit LIVING LAND –weather. It will provide opportunities for students to develop skills in identifying existing knowledge, -brainstorming,- locating, identifying and selecting appropriate information- ,using electronic sources—develop reading skim and scan skills—understand and relate information to task—select and reject information according to need and purpose—record information in notes, diagrams, illustrations, sunthesise information and demonstrate learning of facts and information in list, graphic, maps, report or ,create 3- dimensional product eg diorama based on PLUS model (Herring, 2008)
